ABOUT ME

I hold a BA in English from Carleton College and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Colorado College and have been an English teacher since Jimmy Carter abandoned his peanut fields. I currently live in Pacific Grove, CA after exciting times in many other beautiful places, primarily in the Western U.S. and Hawaii. Currently my favorite author is Murakami, although I don’t try to emulate him. I am interested in telling good stories, true and otherwise, with themes that explore the social forces that blind us to our internal and external connections with nature. I am fascinated by the collective unconscious and the seen and unseen forces that influence human development. I believe that the exploration of the subconscious through art and meditation has as much to teach humanity about life as logic and science.
